Emma FitzGerald was born in Lesotho to Irish parents, did most of her growing up in Vancouver, and calls E鈥檚e鈥檏atik (place of clams), also known as Lunenburg, home. She wrote and illustrated聽Hand Drawn Halifax,听Sketch by Sketch Along Nova Scotia鈥檚 South Shore,听Hand Drawn Vancouver, and has illustrated the award-winning聽EveryBody鈥檚 Different on EveryBody Street. When she isn鈥檛 sketching, she enjoys dancing and getting lost in new places.聽
